Are you? If so, are you doing something to keep the mosquitos away when you're outside? According to the CDC: So far, this has been the worst year on record for West Nile virus infections, says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 48 states have reported infections in humans, birds and/or mosquitoes. 1,993 people have been confirmed nationwide with WNV (West Nile virus) infection, of whom 87 have died. 54% (1,069) were classified as neuroinvasive disease and 924 as non-neuroinvasive disease. I've been thinking about it more, recently when I'm outside. Seems like the mosquitos are really hatching after all the rain.

When I visited Los Angeles in June a few years ago I noticed that they didn't seem to have any bugs... no flies, mosquitos, gnats, etc. That is because their climate is very dry and desert-like as opposed to our humid climate. The humidity causes the bugs to flourish.
Remember back when we had 100+ degree temps and it was dry? I would ride my bicycle 25 miles a day and never get hit in the face with a bug. But if I ride it after a rain I come home with bugs all over me.

No mosquito wants to live in LA anymore than you or I do.

Mosquitoes come out during the day also. I do some of my workouts outside during the day. Get bit up when I forget the spray
