neither Chevy nor Ford currently make anything that comes to mind really.... unless of course you want to jump to about $45/k and get a Chevy Volt.

CraigKrage If you are talking NEW I would check out the Fusion and the Taurus. I am a Chevy guy but Ford has some great styling right now. Chevy I do like the Equinox. For a NEW ride I would go American. Used the options are limited.

I would go with a Hyundai even though I am not an import fan. The price is reasonable and they get great gas mileage. The come with a good warranty and with the value of your trade you can get into one for next to nothing. I would not go with a hybrid. They don't get good enough gas mileage over a regular vehicle to justify the additional cost. They compared a Honda hybrid and civic. The civic was within 2-3 mpg and was $8000 less. If you do go hybrid, go Toyota, they have an electric motor with a gas backup if needed and Honda is just the opposite which defeats the purpose of a hybrid.
