I'm just going by what I saw in the video. I don't think that the ticketed passenger was being an asshole. Just asking questions.

Where does it say that some TSA agent has the right to be a dick? If the passenger gets to be an asshole, why would it not be okay for the TSA agent to respond in kind? Uhm, because he or she is a professional doing a job. I'm sure it gets a little tiring for them dealing with bitchy passengers all day. In my job, it gets a little tiring dealing with abusive parents who want to start quoting me their version of the Constitution and their right to beat the hell out of their kids. But the moment that starts to affect my attitude to the point that I feel the need to "respond in kind," I need to find a different profession. Perhaps this TSA agent needs to do the same.

When the video started, she had already been pulled from the flight. Most of her "attitude" was not captured on the video. Not shocking considering that she was the one making the video.

i would like to know what the TSA thought they were going to find in her water or why they questioned her in the first place.

But we have no idea what happened before the video. I embrace the idea of holding those in power accountable for their actions.

Ah but we all have differing definitions of "fuckwits" now don't we?

You may be right. Personally, I hate the whole "You have to act professional at all times" BS. If someone is being an asshole, they deserve to be treated that way. But that's neither here nor there. A TSA agent's attitude being bad, doesn't equal someone's rights being violated. She isn't being forced to fly or use the airport. If she doesn't like the attitude of airport personnel, then she should just leave. But she has no ground to stand on when it comes to arguing about her rights being violated.

Because it's not politically correct to profile, even though it works. I guarantee you, that she got picked for a random search, threw a fit, and the agent decided that if she was going to be difficult, he could to. He won. she didn't get on her flight.

It most certainly is "here or there". TSA agents are trained, professionals. They are to be held to a higher standard.

From the video that was posted, you cannot logically come to that conclusion.
