Have had it for a year and a half with zero problems and the internet service is great. Speed is great. we have the 12mb package and routinely have access up to 11.58mb at all times. Love it so far.

Comcast, bleh!
I have Directv, but have used a friends Att often. Seems ok. He has the basic package, and his internet is pretty speedy, HD looks fine, and the DVR unit/interface is ok. Not great, but ok. I still think Directv has the best hardware/interface, but I might be bias.

You prolly DO owe the bill but we will pretend to believe you hahaha ... I do NOT have Uverse but was wondering about it myself. However the internet is not available at my house at this time ... but it is 7 blocks over. Darn it!

It was a time we moved from one house to another that did not have Comcast and when we called to disconnect we had just paid out current bill, but they are saying that we owed for the coming month. Keep in mind this was also in 2010 and we've moved twice since then.
So yea, I'm sure they probably are right & we would have no paperwork or statements to prove anything now.

I'm more pissed off because we've had Comcast again now for over a year, they did an "audit" found this outstanding balance from 2010, but they are not willing to work with us. They basically want us to make 2 payments at once.

$150 and some change from 2010, plus our current bill of $130 and whatever they charged us to set up the service at our new house we just moved in to this weekend..
And you know what else... is that they came here yesterday, set everything up, internet, TV, etc.... it all worked just fine, then 2 hours later we get a call from "Loss Prevention", explaining everything and by 5p last night when my wife said that that was ridiculous, we just moved, we do not have $300 plus to give them right now, the re-disconnected us...
The best they could do was like $175 yesterday and the rest by the end of the month.... BS

and i have NEVER had an issue with Comcast... i always ignored everyone's horror stories, and now look at me....

I have had UVerse for over a year now and love it. I also have the 12mb internet, and routinely am up over 11mb, plus I have U450 which is just about every channel they carry! LMAO! In any case, I only pay $115 per month. I will agree though that AT&T's , DVR/menu user interface is not as good as Comcast, but it's still awesome!

I have only heard the dvr doesn't hold as much as comcast.
Do they offer AT&T everywhere in town now?
