A Man Sets His House on Fire to Get Rid of Demons . . . But Forgets to Tell His Roommates HIGHLIGHTS: A few weeks ago, a 30-year-old in Arizona had some kind of breakdown and believed there were DEMONS in his closet. So . . . he lit it on fire. Unfortunately, he forgot to tell his roommates . . . and they didn't make it out until the entire place was ON FIRE. He's looking at several charges. FULL STORY: There's an important lesson here, and it is . . . if you're going to set your house on fire, for whatever reason, at least have the courtesy to leave a note for your roommates. A few weeks back, 30-year-old Adam Glenn Hamilton of Avondale, Arizona was walking around, quoting Bible verses, and ranting about DEMONS in his bedroom closet. We can't confirm whether there were actual demons in there. So Adam decided he was going to send those demons back to hell by lighting his closet on fire. He dumped paint thinner in there, set it on fire, and took off. Unfortunately, his two roommates were home. And according to the police report, Adam, quote, "was going to tell them about the fire, but forgot." Fortunately, both of them managed to get out safely . . . AFTER the fire had spread. Adam was arrested on Monday, and is looking at two counts of endangerment and one count of arson.
